Senior DevOps Engineer

Zipdev is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and collaborate with that US-based client. Our client has been transforming the way enterprise organizations overcome unstructured content challenges for over 15 years. His content intelligence and automation solutions allow thousands of global customers to discover, standardize, classify, extract, and leverage clean structured data from complex unstructured documents to simplify compliance, accelerate business processes, and fuel data-driven analytics.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining the client's cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Embrace an ‘automate everything’ culture by developing scripts to automate manual tasks. 
• Participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring timely responses to after-hours notifications.
• Provide support to internal customers for technical issues as it relates to our cloud and virtual infrastructure and provide consulting services to Adlib’s clients on-site, or off-site, as may be assigned periodically.
• Imagine, architect, develop, deploy, and evolve CI and CD systems for cloud applications. 
• Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating client tests as well as production environments. 
• Work with development teams to establish source code branching, merging, and versioning strategies. 
• Ensure that a detailed deployment plan has been documented along with a back-out plan in the event anything goes wrong during deployment. 
• Lead and coordinate the go-live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists. 
• Apply established metrics to determine the readiness, quality, and operability of software, systems, and products due for release to the business. 
• Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for software development, application integration, information system performance, and corresponding documentation. 
• Manage, train, coach, and mentor Test engineers and ensure that best practice and quality standards are enforced. 
• Collaborate with Engineering, infrastructure, and product team to create DR plan and manage the execution of annual DR test and review working with IT and business stakeholders. 

Requirements

•  More than 4 years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps. 
• 5+ relevant yrs in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, deployment orchestration. 
• Relevant work experience with at least one of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP). 
• Hands-on experience in continuous delivery and continuous integration of CI/CD pipelines. 
• Experience with Azure Repos, branching, code review, and code analysis tools. 
• Proficient with Git, Git Flow, Azure DevOps.
• Strong hands-on expertise in diverse DevSecOps concepts/tools, especially on Azure DevOps, Pipelines, GitHub, GitHub actions.
• Experience building and deploying containerized micro-services. 
• Configuration management technologies, such as Ansible, Puppet, Salt, etc. 
• Experience working with artificial intelligence and machine learning. 
• Python development and repository management.
• Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, Splunk, ELK, etc. 
• Experience using scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Bash
